KAYA Fertilizers, LLC is a North American company pioneering the use of vacuum stripping and acid absorption (VaSA) Technology, a smart approach to resource recovery (ammonia) from wastewater for the production of ammonium sulfate which can be used as a reagent-grade chemical or as a nitrogen fertilizer. VaSA ensures the use of minimum amount of energy. KAYA sits at the intersection of environmental and agricultural commodity merchandiser engaged in licensing of VaSA Technology, marketing, trading, distribution and transportation of ammonium sulfate. The Company was founded in 2021 by Dr. Fred O. Agyeman with the intention of advancing resource recovery from wastewater. Its sole office is located in Syracuse, New York, USA. KAYA has active plans to add phosphorus recovery technology and its associated P-based fertilizers in the next 3 years.
